Eschatology

Your thoughts on the end times book in the bible in which it says the end of the world will be initiated by a period in which people are not allowed to go out and work, this system of which being upheld by businessmen and pharmacists. I’m not a Christian, but wondering about your thoughts?

@exexec anyone can claim to be a Christian, learn to read revelation in the original koine Greek that revelation was written in, if you think you know better.

@pianoplayingsteve The book of Revelation was written for First Century Christians and they recognized all the symbols and messages as current events. Most New Testament authorities have recognized this for many years. I know enough Greek to get by.

@pianoplayingsteve I said I know enough to get by. I have access to a number of translations from the Greek, and I trust the true Greek linguists a lot more than my purely amateur translation.
