@FreeSpirit1 Not really. People have been getting reinfected with covid since it's first showed up, which gave a pretty good indication that you're not going to get some sort of lifetime immunity deal from any vaccine. Being vaccinated makes it less likely though - and most importantly, makes it much, much less likely that you'll end up in the hospital.

@sunsporter1649 The older and more immuno-compromised you are, the less response you'll have to the vaccine, so paradoxically you will tolerate it easier, even though it will be less effective.

But do call your doc, they'll tell you not to be a fucking idiot and get the shots.
