You are an indoctrinated fool. Go pledge your allegiance to Xi.
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
@DCarey Xi? You mean the guy Trump sucked up to and said did a "great job" on Corona virus?
The Right doesn't care about America, y'all care about dictators.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@PrincessAwesome Got your Dr. Seuss books ready for burning?
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
@sunsporter1649 First of all, nobody is burning Dr. Suess books. All that happened is the company that owns Suess' work decided to stop publishing six of his books. Obviously this isn't Fascism, since the books are still legal, you can still buy them online.
Secondly, this is whataboutism because you can't defend the actual Fascism of MAGA.
DCarey · 46-50, M
@PrincessAwesome It's called "diplomacy." How many times did he criticize China or call it the China virus?
DCarey · 46-50, M
@PrincessAwesome Tell me how you suffered under the "fascist" policies of President Trump. How did his "fascism" personally affect you? And why would a "fascist" voluntarily leave office even after it was clear the election had been stolen from him?
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
@DCarey Thankfully, Trump was unable to carry out the fascist policies he wanted. America is awesome because we have a strong system of checks and balances. However, if the Republicans were able to take over congress, we easily could have ended up with Trump as dictator. And then he would have been able to ban speech and protesting, like he wanted.
And Trump didn't voluntarily leave office, he was forced to because he lost an election. Even his lies and insurrection couldn't change that.
DCarey · 46-50, M
@PrincessAwesome I'm going to let you in on a little secret. During Trump's first two years in office, the Republicans DID control Congress. Despite that trump didn't install himself as dictator. Amazing, right? And remember during those two years when he controlled everything when he banned speech and protesting? Except that he didn't. And the little "insurrection" CNN told you that happened-- the only person murdered during that event was Ashli Babbitt, a Trump supporter. We still don't know who murdered her. Don't you want to know? And on Jan. 20, despite the farcical election, he left the White House voluntarily. Nobody forced him to leave. But you know what the most ridiculous part of your "argument" is? Fascism is national SOCIALISM, a left-wing ideology. The joke's on you. So, grow up, do something real, get some perspective on life and then we MIGHT let you sit at the grown-up table.

@PrincessAwesome
And Trump didn't voluntarily leave office, he was forced to because he lost an election.

LOL
OggggO · 36-40, M
@DCarey CNN didn't "tell" anyone the insurrection happened, we watched live on multiple channels.
Fascism is national SOCIALISM, a left-wing ideology.
And North Korea is a "Democratic Republic". Amazingly enough, dictators give their regimes misleading names to make themselves more palatable to their subjects.
DCarey · 46-50, M
@OggggO I'm still waiting for someone to tell me how Trump installed fascism with himself as the dictator. I'd be fascinated to find out. Otherwise, STFU and go back to the kiddie table.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@OggggO Like "democracy"?
OggggO · 36-40, M
@DCarey You mean apart from 4 years of treating the government like a piggy bank and surrounding himself with cronies only to replace them the second they were no longer useful? Apart from sending a mob to attack the halls of government when his loss of power was about to be officialized? Apart from asking and then threatening at least one state voting official to "find" votes for him? Apart from demonizing foreigners and persecuting an ethnic minority? Apart from sending federal troops to snatch protestors off the street in unmarked vans? Apart from displaying rank contempt for rule of law and governing by whim? Besides all that, you mean?
DCarey · 46-50, M
@OggggO You're going to have a heart attack when he wins again in 2024.
OggggO · 36-40, M
@DCarey Your denial is boringly predictable.
DCarey · 46-50, M
@OggggO Read above. I explained the situation. Your female bot account didn't even know that the GOP controlled Congress for Trump's first two years and the Senate for all four. Not being able to grasp simple facts automatically disqualifies you. BYE!
OggggO · 36-40, M
@DCarey My what?
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F

You're strawmanning. Nobody is saying Trump installed Fascism. We're saying he is a Fascist and he tried to overturn our Democracy. Thankfully, he's an idiot, so he failed.

@DCarey
Earlier you were saying thankfully the Republicans never had control of Congress during his presidency when I proved to you that they did indeed control all of Congress during his first two years and the Senate all four years.

Nice try, but here's what I actually said:
However, if the Republicans were able to take over congress, we easily could have ended up with Trump as dictator.

So yeah, we're extremely lucky that Trump didn't become a dictator during this time. Thankfully, it wasn't until Trump's last two years that he became more open with his Fascism. This was when he floated the idea of banning Biden from running for president with an executive order. And you know damn well that if the Republicans controlled congress at the time, he would have done this.
boudinMan · 61-69, M
@PrincessAwesome you need some rest... i recommend an island with no internet.
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
@boudinMan Thank you for proving me right. ❤️
boudinMan · 61-69, M
@PrincessAwesome yeah right, that's what i did... you're delusional. seek help immediately.
PrincessAwesome · 22-25, F
@boudinMan So when Trump said it should be illegal to burn the American flag, was that Authoritarian? How about when he said we shouldn't allow protesting? Or when he said Biden should be banned from running for president? Or his attempt at overturning the results in Georgia?
boudinMan · 61-69, M
@PrincessAwesome he has every right to propose making flag burning a crime. he's not the only one to ever do that, btw. the protesting you're referring to was for the kavanaugh hearings where lib dims made fools of themselves trying to block the confirmation hearings based on allegations. when he said biden shouldn't be allowed to run for president, he was referring to the bribe that biden admitted to when he got the prosecutor investigating Burisma fired. his so-called attempt at overturning the georgia election results was based on his contention that there were problems/issues with the vote counting in fulton county, ga. and he wanted them to find the fraud... pretty simple. and it doesn't make him a dictator.
