@HoraceGreenley Well, no, it's not, because Marxists say that race theory is completely invalid and that it's used as a distraction by the bourgeois to keep the proletariat from paying attention to class warfare. So, the people peddling race theory are exactly the opposite to the people peddling Marxism since they each believe the other's ideas to be entirely false.

If BLM was Marxist, they'd be the biggest contradiction in world history because BLM is a racial awareness group, and Marxism states that racial identity is a farce created by the rich and powerful.

@Ryannnnnn I think she maybe meant to say she was a "highly trains MARKSMAN." At least, that's my hypothesis, because that is a pretty common phrase, highly trained marksman, and marksman sounds like Marxist. But "highly trained Marxist" isn't a phrase. That doesn't mean anything.

It's about labor theory of value, absolute and relative surplus, relations between capital and work force, but in no way whatsoever about race (whatever that is, "race"…)

@BlueMetalChick I think that the author of this post defines Marxism as any thought he doesn't like or contrary to his viewpoint. Like you I don't mind him having his opinions on these matters but they are not Marxist.

@JimboSaturn You see this a lot tbf, there's this association between socialism, marxism, and communism being the same thing. It ends up equating to "left things bad" which you can hear in a lot of rhetoric in the right-wing whenever anything mildy socialist sounding happens. @helenS Race theory usually wasn't considered leftist until shit like Tumblrinas came around. You know the types, they always claim that every single thing is racist, if you criticize someone then it must mean you hate people of their skin color, so on and so forth. Those types of people really aren't as common as they're made out to be, which is good because they're dimwits. But because the ones who do exist are also heavily leftist in terms of social issues - legalizing marijuana, protecting abortion rights, legalizing gay marriage, etc - people link the two together and they think that race theory is leftist.
