Can Trump Still Win?

I thought that Trump was going to get in the white house early March, yet it hasn't happened yet. And Biden hasn't been arrested yet.

Why is this? Thoughts..

Having his policies continue is and will be wins.

@jackjjackson by whom 🤫
Mikemcneil · 61-69, M
@jackjjackson his policies are being reversed on climate change and Iran. America rejected his policies by voting for Biden. You can't claim any credit for Trump. He's out of office and rightly so. The Wall is his lasting tribute. Unfinished and a big waste of taxpayer dollars. He lied to the voters.

All that stuff is simply on break for 2 years. @smiler2012 @Mikemcneil

@jackjjackson what happens in 2 years?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
House and Senate elections. I doubt the dems will remain in charge of both or perhaps either. @Mikemcneil

@jackjjackson Ah, yes, because continuing to revoke American citizens' health insurance and spending all the tax money arming jihadists is a "win." Feeling good about yourself there, jihad-lover?

There has to be a happy medium between what you just wrote beautiful and open borders. @BlueMetalChick
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@jackjjackson Well let's see. No politician in any branch of American government has advocated for open borders, so you're bringing up a non-issue. You've created a fictional nonexistent boogieman and now you're attacking it even though nobody in any political party supports it.

Furthermore, what in the world does open borders have to do with anything I just said? I brought up healthcare reform and arming jihadists. What part of that involves open borders? Don't change the subject.

Biden hasn’t uttered a word you are correct. It’s simply occurring and he may not even know it. Every American President since at least Reagan has armed the enemy. Pretty darned dumb if you ask me. I’m in favor of Medicare for all citizens who work. Citizens that don’t work get Medicaid just like now. Non citizens get zip. Dreamers get a patch to citizenship that isn’t long or difficult. Legal immigrants my also follow a not too long or too path path to citizenship. Illegal aliens are shut. down, not let in and kicked out when exposed. You saw the part where I wrote that I find you extremely attractive I hope. I mean that sincerely. What part of what I just wrote don’t you agree with and why please? @BlueMetalChick

@jackjjackson You're a goddamned fucking fool if you find me attractive. I appreciate the kind words, but I mean this genuinely, I end up severely hurting everyone who finds me attractive and goes through the trouble of telling me.

I'd change the Medicare for all citizens who work to all citizens who pay taxes. Because if you're paying taxes, then you're paying into Medicare and you should be able to use it.

Except children of course because it would be pretty stupid to dent healthcare to a little kid because they don't pay taxes.

Undocumented people already don't have access to government programs like Medicare/Medicaid, food stamps, or publicly funded housing. The only program that undocumented people can use is free school lunch.

There is an exception in the state of California. For whatever reason, they have state-specific laws which allow undocumented people to use food stamps and whatnot.

Illegal immigrants is a tricky one because there's distinctions to make. Do they work or are they unemployed? How old are they? If they are doing crimes then that should result in immediate deportation no matter what. Also, did they come here illegally but trying to gain citizenship? I did that myself.

Regardless, the end goal is to get them to either become citizens or leave, or at least get a work permit, visa, green card, etc.

The biggest thing to me though is...what the hell does this have to do with open borders? And furthermore, what does it have to do with Trump?
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
It’s not like I was hitting in you or anything. I was commenting on layout lovely photo. I’m fine with paying taxes and the distinction line. Open borders = more illegal aliens = creating a bigger problem. At this point Trump is in the rear view. This is an old thread that someone reopened. Was that someone you lol? @BlueMetalChick

@jackjjackson Ok, so it seems as if the point of contention between us is that you consider an increase in illegal immigrantiom to be "open borders". I get what you're saying, but usually when someone used the term "open borders" they mean it in a literal sense, like, there's no more rules or restrictions for people coming over the border. Right now, we do not have open borders. We just have a lot of illegal immigration and we're doing a shitty job of changing that.

To be honest with you though, chain migration is the biggest cause of it. Basically, you get one person to come to the USA and legally become a citizen. So they're legal now, and can receive government benefits. Then, they bring all their family members here illegally and have them live in their household. The one legal person can then claim their illegal family members as dependents, and thus receive welfare benefits like food stamps or cheaper rent because of it. You need to be legal to get welfare but there's no requirement to be legal to be claimed as a dependent.

I see that a lot in my neighborhood even. Many of my neighbors are Mexican and Dominican, and they do the chain migration thing.

Interestingly enough, Melania Trump is actually guilty of it too. Which is mildly amusing.

The whole Mrs Trump story including what we don’t know must be a hoot. @BlueMetalChick
