It’s a personal garment. It’s no different than wearing a hijab ? Likely the original purpose of wearing a hijab covering was health purposes wear it or die.... it becomes a religion. Punishing people for NOT wearing something g is no different than a religion that believe if you don’t wear something you are doing wrong. .

Btw, I wear a mask, and with increased pollution, it probably serves a dual purpose. But it’s my choice (cause I happen to want to be cautious) I wore it when they said it didn’t help. (Stupid claim, doctors and nurses wear them in surgery regardless of who benefits)

@Mindful You can punish people for not wearing pants in public.

Yes. Lol. A horrible offense, and others suffer greatly from it. Lol. @BlueMetalChick I’m not sure why being naked is offensive. But I’m glad it is. Lol. I suppose people can function better?

@BlueMetalChick Exactly. Or even a shirt in some jurisdictions. Over here every Summer we have clueless people who get fined for walking shirtless on the street that leads to the beach. 😑

@Mindful I guess the fear is that people might go around exposing themselves to children or waggling their genitals in people's faces on the subway train or something.

@Mindful The day they'll remove pants mandates I'm going everywhere completely naked - and not because I'm a nudist or anything, just to annoy the hell out of moralists
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Elessar Wouldn't catch me dead letting another person see me naked. I'll put a bullet in their face and walk around with their head on a fucking stick before do that.

Then some one might cut ‘EM off “accidentally” and claim it was an accident. So the law is in part written to curb chaos. I suppose a mask law could curb chaos. But it’s based on ignorance and a lack of respect. no different from any law. But laws don’t always change people. That why we still suffer murder... and other heinous crimes. @BlueMetalChick
It’s just a chance for finger wagging for some people.

@BlueMetalChick So long as you'll allow me going around with my bat in visibility I'm fine with it, it's supposed to be a new freedom not an enforcement no?
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Mindful Indeed, but I can tell you from personal experience that laws which outlaw things like murder and theft are most of the reason why I don't do those things. Were I able to kill someone without going to jail, I'd almost certainly have done it by now. It's the fear of institutionalization that deters me the most.

😆 😄🤣 🤕@BlueMetalChick

@Mindful I wish it was a joke but it isn't. I've struggled with outbursts of physical violence and homicidal fantasies since I was a preteen.

🤔 very serious. Thanks for sharing. Have you studied yourself and your motivations btw, btwI’m getting sleepy again— it’s NOT you @BlueMetalChick
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Mindful Fortunately it's not that hard to decipher with me. I grew up incredibly poor in an extremely violent part of the world so my childhood consisted of destitution, food insecurity, chronic sunburn, and watching soldiers butcher each other all day. The experience left me with a feeling as if the world was trying to kill me and my only option was to be violent in return.

But I've got a better grip on it than I used to. And I'm always self improving.

@BlueMetalChick outcome impressive.
Evolution is very logical. You’re a success story. I hope if an when given the opportunity, you share your success in overcoming trauma. For the benefit of others. I have my silly little demons to deal with. they seem huge.yet are Nothing compared to yours. My stomach sinks to hear about your earlier circumstances. To think that was common for all civilization thousands of years ago. we have come far...as you said by laws. Sigh.
