I guess your comments and your post seem to justify the behavior of these knuckleheads. In reality, they are no better than the people they are railing against.
And some of them got instantly rich. Are they going to use that newfound wealth to help society?
@JoeyFoxx i think that it will help society. Anytime money is reintroduced into the lower brackets of the economy it will always benefit society. I don't know if this is enough to make a big big difference, but I'm seeing alot of these meme investors saying they were able to pay of medical debt and things of that nature.
@NoahB @FreeSpirit1 This wasn't some rich group of savvy investors. This was a bunch of aholes on Reddit manipulating the market and f*cking with hedge funds.
Are we less surprised that Wall Street crushes anyone who outplays their games or by the number of us peasants here on SW who’ve already learned to blame the underdogs in this story?
@NoahB It's very much not in Robin Hood interest if a large number of their members suddenly lose their shirts all at once, which is why they're acting in the face of extreme volatility. They're also worried about what the regulators will see when they're looking back at all of this.
@NoahB RH wants people to close out their meme stock positions, and get back to doing business as usual tomorrow. That won't happen if people go nuts in an orgy of speculation and lose their shirts in the dump.
You have a strange view on this stuff - rich people and institutionals have been making an absolute killing on GME, they love volatility of this sort. Stocks get locked in these kinds of circumstances to protect the little guy.
@NoahB K, well I'm sorry I choose not to engage with someone who so clearly is galvanized in his opinion and not interested in discussing it other that to judge someone racist because they don't hold the same opinions.
@faithfulhusband well if you're holding unto GME and AMC you're ahead of most beginners lol.

Are you serious? A bunch of aholes thought it was funny to manipulate the market and drive up the value of shares of mediocre companies. Someone decided to do a "pump and dump" scheme. It's going to take them a while to investigate and sort it out. Everyone loses when things like this occur.
Hey Noah, if you have any Reddit friends on that thread, give them the tip of OPK Another shorted stock, only this one is actually a profitable one versus GameStop which is a dying company
