@MistyCee Free everything for everybody!
@sunsporter1649 Nothing in life is free, but we can choose to cooperate with each other to pool resources and even redistribute them for the benefit of everyone.

The tough part is figuring out how much and how much liberty we're willing to sacrifice for the benefits.

@MistyCee "To each according to their needs, from each according to their ability."
@sunsporter1649 Marxism is one way of looking at distributive justice, but it's not the only one.

@MistyCee Any system but a Constitutional Republic is garbage
@sunsporter1649 I'm kind of a fan as well, but really, that's mostly just picking a governmental structure to decide on and manage the distribution of resources.

@sunsporter1649 Did you get stuck in slogans again?

sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Kwek00 Just who is it that will be deciding who gets what, and who gets it taken from them
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 At the moment, that question isn't even on the table. It's only delusional people that watch to much fake news that are obsessed with those things. People like you.

@Kwek00 Typical left-wing nut job, unable to think 15 minutes into the future
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 Not really Sporter, you are just incredibly ignorant and gullible.

If you were able to think 15 minutes in the future, you wouldn't support a person that doesn't give a crap about your constitutional repubulic. You can continuously say "constitutional republic", but if you don't respect it, then it's only a dead letter on a piece of paper.

@Kwek00 Just your average left-wing nut job, unable to defend their position, so kill the messenger

@sunsporter1649 They're not designed that way. Confucius say, "They who think by the Inch, and talk by the Yard, should be kicked by the Foot."
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 You really think that saying:

"To each, according to their needs, from each, according to their abilities."

... is a position, that you need to defend? And that if someone (annyone for that matter) is able to think 15 minutes in the future, this idea of you will make some kind of impression or explain something that is happening in the real world?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Kwek00 LOL, unable to guess just who will decide who gets what, and who gets what taken from them?
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 If the new governement (because we aren't there yet) lift taxes, they'll be looking at income and property sporter. And if money gets redistibuted, they'll be looking at income too. That's also what is happening in the US today, and it's how it's done in manny other countries too. It's really not that much of an alien idea honestly.

A while back there was a suggestion in the US where a family that earns more then 10 milion dollar US a year, will have to pay between 70% to 90% taxes on everything they gain ABOVE the 10 milion. And this is actually an older idea, between the 1930s and 1980 in the US, you had moments where families earning above a certain amount were taxed for the exceeding amount in those tax brackets.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Kwek00 And just which people will decide who gets what, and from whom things get taken from?
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 That's a political discussion Sporter. To give answers to that you need to look what income you get with your taxes, and then look at the lower incomes and what needs there are. Starting to think about a more socialised healthcare system, housing, schools, ... etc. Everything that makes kids grow up in better conditions so they can experience more freedom and better education in the hope that they will develop their skills, should be the aim. Creating better conditions for those in need so they can be less worried about getting by at the end of the month and have more freedom to develop skills and find better jobs, improve life in general. All of that hopefully will lead to a better educated and well of middle class, and a more stable social structure as a whole.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Kwek00 And you still have not figured out just what people decide who gets what, and who gets what taken from them
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 I'm not a senator nor am I a congressman. Next to that, I'm also not an American scholar that does research in these fields. But I'm pretty sure a lot of universities look at problems in society and have written papers on these toppics and give suggestions. At the end of the conversation, it's congress and the senate that decide where they draw the lines in the grey area of the debate. 🤷‍♂️
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Kwek00 And just who puts these Representatives of the People into positions of authority?
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 The people do, by voting according to the voting cycle Sporter.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Kwek00 Like in the mostest perfect elektion in the history of elektions just held in the former United States?
