How do you deal with relatives or friends that are Trump supporters?

Ambroseguy80 · 51-55, M
I invite them in for the party. Dems can stay out in the cold.

@Stargazer89 The last time we lost 300k to flu in one year it was also, you guessed it, a pandemic.
@QuixoticSoul media jacked up the numbers
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@Stargazer89 It's a worldwide conspiracy of doctors and nurses, all to get you to wear paper masks.
SinlessOnslaught · 26-30, M
Don't spout bullshit at them and you should be fine.
curiosi · 61-69, F
None of those in my family. Don't have anything to do with them as I don't need their brand of liberal ignorance in my life.
JoePourMan · 61-69, M
The same way I treat friends and family that are Biden supporters, with kindness and respect
JoePourMan · 61-69, M
@Stargazer89 I'm not so arrogant or narrow-minded to consider those with different political opinions to be trash. We live in a country fairly evenly divided. We can disagree without being disagreeable
@JoePourMan if you ask the majority of trump voters, you'll see they agree with me. Just look at the majority of them on this site. I bet they would have no issue spitting in the face of a dumb lib if they met one
JoePourMan · 61-69, M
@Stargazer89 I'm only responsible for my actions.
I find the hate spewed these last four years at President Trump and his supporters to be totally unacceptable. I find hating Biden spitting in the face of his supporters equally unacceptable.
I try to not to have conversations about politics with my family if I can help it. It is more than "just politics" and "differing views", you know? When these opinions are put into legislation and laws, it has a very real impact on people's lives. Nevermind how these people treat others in their own lives.

They've always been racist and had harmful views, but they've become more vocal since trump came into power. I don't think it is possible to honestly care about the well-being of all people and be a Trump supporter. Nothing he says or does reflects the actions and words of someone with a heart.
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
Most of my family is conservative, but thankfully - all educated, intelligent people, who never jumped on the trump train.
very well, for the most part. they can be a bit outspoken, but I only hear threats or crazy shit from superblue kit n kin.
SageWanderer · 70-79, M
I just avoid discussing politics or religion. In my lifetime I have never seen anyone change their mind.
kelseyM · 22-25, F
doesn't matter, people are bound to have different viewpoints. Don't talk about politics with me and I won't talk about politics with you, this goes for people who share my same views and for those that don't, for the record. I would rather stab my eyes out with a fork.

I nod my head politely and let it go in one ear and out the other.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
Walk quietly behind them and carry a big axe.
Avoid the topic out of fear of murder.
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
Poison their food?
Jimmy2016 · 61-69, M

Entwistle · 56-60, M

Tastyfrzz · 61-69, M
