@sunsporter1649 actually, yes, the reported overall death rate from things like automobile crashes has decreased. If interested, I'd suggest you check out the CDC reports of "excess all cause mortality," that gives you a better "handle" on all of the deaths from covid and covid-related illnesses.

Yes co-morbidities add to risk of seriousness. But, it is the infection that starts the cascade to death. But, many without any reported comorbidities have died!
