There shouldn’t be any deaths from Covid? That’s like saying there shouldn’t be any deaths from the flu. There are, and it’s calked “life.” There are deaths from many diseases, we can’t shut down whole economies when most people only have mild symptoms. Protect the vulnerable of any age, and even that decision should be their own, except children, of course, and let everyone else wear their masks, keep social distancing, but get on with their lives. @justanothername

@Carissimi We have no Covid cases of community infection in New Zealand and no deaths either, but that’s because we quarantine at the boarder which means any person coming into the country must stay in quarantine isolation for 2 weeks after being Covid tested.

@justanothername it works wherever it is done, but, most countries then provide substantial financial aid to those in need. In the US, much of the aid went to corporations and only a small amountbtrickled down to help. With Moscow Mitch as the majority leader of the Senate, there is no.more aid coming, despite the House passing not one but 2 pieces of legislation to help!
