Why cant we get someone like this guy for president ?

Too smart to take on a thankless job.

Good decent human beings don't go into politics.

I think he's a tad busy as it is. 😅

We will someday. Small steps. Though still, I also want someone wise in international policy, diplomacy and a larger vision than may encompass his particular skill set.

I somehow hope he has no patience for the senseless anti-intellectual bickering that is required to make a career in politics

Would have to see what his policies are. He's only just now old enough to run, you have to be at least 35, lived the last 14 in the US, and be a natural born citizen.

Being president is a fairly different type of ambition as well. Doctors and astronauts are doers. They get things done. The president is more of a managerial style. They typically delegate more than they do.
