Making sense when it comes to energy

I know Washington or American politics doesn’t make sense very much but I think I found a way to make everyone happy about energy independence and ending the oil dependence. It would be great if we had a president who actually had a brain and looked out for everyone. Now here’s my idea and tell me if I’m wrong. It would be great if we had a president that actually came out with I want to be as energy independent as possible while we can start exporting more oil while striving for a solution for cutting the consumption of oil. Using the power of the free market and deregulating the industry of alternative energy technology. Allowing for rapid growth and exportation. It is just what would work best for everyone. But I could be w?

We really just need a president with a brain first. We haven't even gotten past that the last four years.

@Unitato I always had a v8 between a 89 mustang GT 88 chevy blazer K5 350 small block and a 95 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The mustang had a custom built 427 that was an absolute rocket (9.5 second 1/4 mile) The blazer now has a 502 big block cranking out a massive 1150 horsepower and the Jeep was stock I spent more $ in parts and fuel than I’d like to admit. The blazer gets 2 gallons per mile the mustang became so unworthy for road use due to handling. The jeep my brother totaled. I now drive a 2.4l Dodge Dart and I absolutely cannot stand the thing. Good on gas handles well but lacks the power I’m use to

@Ozuye502 Oh gosh. I'd have to get my father-in-law to interpret. x3 ♥

I just have a smart car nowadays. Better for my current job on gas. Stronger than you would think before a harsh rain, but makes an absolute shitty boat.

@Unitato I hear you glad I still have my K5 with the 26 inch lift and 44 inch tires.
We need SUSTAINABLE energy. And its not about the bloody PRESIDENT for christs sakes. Its at the center of our whole filthy political land economic policy and anyone who knows anything about WW2 knows that oil was always abuot world domination and not "energy". and also...

...The "independence" ruse is just Orwell-talk for maintaining the vicious relentless plunder of mother earth for the very lost godforsaken drop of oil. Nobody wants our exported oil after seeing how it came into existence.

Leave it in the ground.
@Ozuye502 Why is the US curtailing Iran's ability to export oil?

That question answers some of mine!!

@Elevatorpitches that has to do with the relationship between Iran and Israel. Nothing really to do with climate change. Unfortunately the oil isn’t the only thing that Iran isn’t able to deal with.
@Ozuye502 I can't deal with how Truman decided that Iran would never have nationalized oil in their own country. Yup.

He was a good guy too. Everyone thought he was "following" Roosevelt's policies. I heard something similar the night of Nov 22 1963.

Johnson would do something. And I tuned out therever after. And tried to learn the truth, still working at it.
