Making sense when it comes to energy

I know Washington or American politics doesn’t make sense very much but I think I found a way to make everyone happy about energy independence and ending the oil dependence. It would be great if we had a president who actually had a brain and looked out for everyone. Now here’s my idea and tell me if I’m wrong. It would be great if we had a president that actually came out with I want to be as energy independent as possible while we can start exporting more oil while striving for a solution for cutting the consumption of oil. Using the power of the free market and deregulating the industry of alternative energy technology. Allowing for rapid growth and exportation. It is just what would work best for everyone. But I could be w?

We need SUSTAINABLE energy. And its not about the bloody PRESIDENT for christs sakes. Its at the center of our whole filthy political land economic policy and anyone who knows anything about WW2 knows that oil was always abuot world domination and not "energy". and also...

...The "independence" ruse is just Orwell-talk for maintaining the vicious relentless plunder of mother earth for the very lost godforsaken drop of oil. Nobody wants our exported oil after seeing how it came into existence.

Leave it in the ground.

@Elevatorpitches I will agree that the lack of accountability in government needs to be addressed and how the political leaders allowed the oil industry to control what should have been an independent market of the alternative and environmentally responsible and friendly options seriously lag behind.

I will disagree with you on energy independence. In a tactical position it is better to have the ability to stand on your own while you can strangle your enemies out of resources especially since so many industries are reliant on oil. I mean everything form polymers used in medical equipment to the independent farmer uses oil in one form or another. Now what we can do is revert back to a time before polymers and the industry and have people starve or use what we have to address the situation if government and the oil industry would just get the fuck out of the way. Now as the true capitalist I say expand everything and let the market decide what is best eliminate the government obstacles and set us free to decy
@Ozuye502 Why is the US curtailing Iran's ability to export oil?

That question answers some of mine!!

@Elevatorpitches that has to do with the relationship between Iran and Israel. Nothing really to do with climate change. Unfortunately the oil isn’t the only thing that Iran isn’t able to deal with.
@Ozuye502 I can't deal with how Truman decided that Iran would never have nationalized oil in their own country. Yup.

He was a good guy too. Everyone thought he was "following" Roosevelt's policies. I heard something similar the night of Nov 22 1963.

Johnson would do something. And I tuned out therever after. And tried to learn the truth, still working at it.
