@SkeetSkeet if you only said that it was hard to pronounce, they did overreact. but i’ve had white americans who literally mock my name when i introduce myself. i don’t say my full name on here but this one lady named karen literally said “marlalalala” when i told her my name. like where the fuck did this lady even get the L sound😐 some people are really outta pocket, i should’ve said something

Definitely a difference between failing to pronounce a name or apologizing for not being able to pronounce it and mocking it.
