Biden doesn’t need to campaign at all. Trump is doing it for him every time he opens his mouth, holds a dipshit rally, refuses to move forward on relief legislation, etc. Plus this election is half over already. President Obama and the rest of the Democrats are smart enough to realize things are going their way. The more Trump panics, the more he resorts to racial demagoguery, and the further behind he falls.

He knows loads of people don’t like him. Specific accusations say that Biden is a figurehead for the B-man.

Obama probably is not so visible as voters whom voted for Trump and that Biden wishes to sway will be turned away given their discontent with his administration and policies.

Where Obama is more useful is probably in fundraising activities.
