How did we get here ?

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout My dad worked as a mechanic while my mom stayed home and raised 7 of us. We had food and shelter. Bithdays. Christmas was some shared presents and some individual ones. We had new shoes for school and some new clothes. Modest living. My parents built a home and a garage. Nowadays two parents need to work. Why has this changed so much?

@AngelofFail there’s something terribly wrong.. we humans have allowed ourselves to be turned into stock mules.. to the benefit of a few. With the premise and conditioning from birth that this is ‘life’ 😒

@PoetryNEmotion bc the dollar is worth abt 20 cents now. All foreign countries when u exchange dollars for you'll get less bc their $ is worth more than ours.

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout My employer thinks that because she hired me for health care that she OWNS me. I have said what I want. I guess she doesn't like me having a life outside work. Another problem with health care...
