@samueltyler2 People with absolute monopolies on industry not financially effected by the lockdown because they have so much money they could never lose it, are able to buy up all the spaces previously owned by small businesses no longer able to pay the upkeep.
Bankers who issue governments loans at massive interest get a big pay day loaning at big interest massive amounts of money for forlough payments which will then be repaid with the nation's taxes. This increased taxation will further destroy the middle class, preventing more and more people from getting anywhere near to the level of financial freedom required to not be reliant on a state already in these banks' pockets
Government and social media over reach from the virus. Just look at australia. Look at facebook censoring over the virus. Both these governments and social media giants are in the pockets of the same bankers.
Global solutions for global issues. A global pandemic. Justifies more global government stuff with even more power concentrated on an even smaller number of people. These people again are the bankers.

@lynncelestial so let me get this straight, you would prefer the government take over, keep the businesses operational, etc.? The Congress passed the first protection plan and the house another. They guarantee loans and convert the loans to grants when indicated. So you are for socialization of industry?

@samueltyler2 I would have closed the borders to infected countries months ago and let my country run as normal if I had a say.

@lynncelestial so when you get old enough, run for the presidency. Hindsight is great, but we don't usually get that opportunity, and we don't even know if that would have even worked. Social distancing and masks would have worked well, still would be if people stopped being so pig headed about it.
