SW used to be an ok place to come chill, chat, and read interesting posts.

But it's turned into a political outhouse where everyone who thinks they're God's gift to politics comes in and takes a dump.

Yeah, it's worse than ever now, because we're getting close to the election. I hope this dies down soon. So sick of politics and everyone thinking their mediocre opinions need to rammed down everyone's throats. Every now and then I read something interesting, but I'm just tired of the subject in general. It's become so incredibly nasty and angry; there's no room for any real discussion, just insults.
