How interesting that you would use a German company for your reference.

Just like matches, research should be handled by only those mature enough to understand it.

Black people were killed at a rate higher than their proportion to the national population.

Although Black people represented 12 percent of the population in the states studied, they made up 25 percent of the deaths in police shootings.

By comparison, white people represented 62 percent of the population—and made up 54 percent of the deaths in encounters with police.

@Graylight those percentages only matter if you consider that blacks commit 50 percent of the crime. So if they commit more crimes and still shot less where does racism come into play?

@Graylight Exactly! And you said it way better than I did! You were able to work out the figures - maths was never one of my fortes.

@SW-User It has very little to do with crime. In fact, that's the whole point of what you see outside your window right now. Black people are accosted, arrested and victims of violence at the hands of the police when there are no crimes at all.

@Adaydreambeliever Nor mine, but you'd be amazed at how easy the research is to find. Problem is, the other side never seems to bother themselves with it.

@SW-User And ignoring everything else, police aren't supposed to kill criminals either. Lethal force is only appropriate when there is a reasonable fear that their life is in danger, which is not the case for far too many of these deaths regardless of race.
