@SW-User are these total numbers or per capita numbers? If total, how do they change if you make them order capita. Remember there is about 4X more white people than black people. So if white people have 2X more shot, that means black people are shot twice as often as whites.
Are we able to cut crime stats by poverty levels? Additionally, committing a crime and being caught and charged for a crime are different. If police are targeting specific groups for enforcement, those groups will see higher crime rates because attention is there for reporting. It's like marijuana. Usage percents are fairly consistent across racial groups in the US, and yet blacks are much more likely to have prison time over possession as an only crime.
