Turns out that being a religious fundamentalist is bad no matter what the religion is.

Lesson learned.

@Pikachu Yes you are correct 👍
@Pikachu Absolutely correct...any religious fundamentalists, no matter the religion, are overwhelmingly characterised by having narcissistic and sociopathic tendencies...

...these are the people who have a completely "legalistic" and "punitive" understanding of their faith and have completely no connection with the fundamentals of compassion, mercy and love that were the foundations of their religion to start with...

...that is because, like all other narcissists and sociopaths, all that these individuals are really interested in is wielding power over other people...

...and religious institutions are the perfect vehicle for them to rise up in the ranks and have the opportunity to force themselves onto others and satisfy their inner desires to abuse people and feel powerful..

...I despise these kinds of people and everything they stand for...they are pitiful examples of spirituality and humanity!

Exactly. They're not interested in spreading the good word, they're interested in punishing the people who won't hear it.
@Pikachu Absolutely! 👍

...which brings about a paradox in itself...

...being loving and compassionate to these deranged people only makes them bolder because they think you are weak...

...but dealing with them in a punitive manner puts you at risk of becoming just like the monster yourself...
