Now you KNOW Trump isnt going to leave this alone

This open letter by high ranking Military men has been published, reminding the heads of the Military of their constitutional duty, should Trump fail to relinguish office at the end of January 2021 in the event of him losing the forthcoming election.
Maybe he will lose. Maybe he will win. What this letter does say is a couple of people with long military careers just bet the farm on him losing, because you KNOW he is going to double down on this one.

One thing that concerns me is that, even if Trump were to refuse to leave the White House after losing, it isn't the duty of the armed forces to do anything about it. It would be the duty of federal law enforcement officials.

But there I go again, expecting legal norms to be respected.

@DunningKruger I am no expert on US constitutional law. The one thing I am certain of is that in this tit for tat exchange between Republicans and Democrats over the last decade, every failure to observe "conventions" rather than the letter of the law has come back to bite the party that did it first. The whole thing is becoming a charade.
