What "world" are they living in? Certainly NOT mine.

This reminds me of when people look at murder rates. Despite being famous for gun violence, my city, Chicago, actually ranks pretty low on the list of major US cities by murder rate. The reason for that is because we calculate the rate by homicides per 1,000 residents, and in a city with 9,000,000 in the greater metro area, that means we can, and do, have the highest number of murders per year but the rate is lower cos there's so many people.

The president has been bragging about how coronavirus has a 1% mortality rate. That's still over three million people.

@BlueMetalChick Interesting, thank you.

Yes, what doesn't he brag about? Seriously though he must actually believe his own lies, I'm at a loss to explain it otherwise. As for McEnany she's just an ambitious sycophant in my opinion. On her first day at the podium I recall her promising to NEVER lie to the press. What a joke.

@Zoranna My favorite is still his response to Biden's claim that he's gonna do an executive order to force the government to only buy American-made products. Trump pretended to do that in 2016 when he had a "made in America week" but not only was it just a week long, but it also consisted of products made in America or or allies. Under the list of approved trade allies, China was in there. So, it could have been made in China and Trump's condition would have been met.

When they asked him what he thought of Biden signing an executive order for the federal government to only buy American, Trump said "It's a very radical idea, it's very far left, very dangerous idea" but then said "He stole the idea from me it was my idea and I did it better and he's copying me." So it's a dangerous radical far left idea but it was also his idea first?

@BlueMetalChick Yep, I'm chuckling here. lol The man is SO obviously certifiable and completely delusional.
But the abysmal, irresponsible and wilfully negligent way he's dealing with this horrific pandemic is no laughing matter, unfortunately, it's criminal and I hope, one day, he will be held truly accountable.
They don't call him Teflon Don for nothing however and the most I can reasonably hope for is that he shuffles off quietly to Florida. Since he's never done anything quietly I believe I'm deluding myself with a case of wishful thinking. Oh well .... Good luck USA, I mean that.
The self proclaimed "Stable Genius", isn't stable or a genius. His "rags to riches" story, "I didn't have it easy, it was only a small loan of $1 million, after that everything I touched turned to gold." It's a good thing he wasn't born into a poor family because he wouldn't have been able to pay "A smart kid, known for being a good tester, to take his SAT college entrance exam for him." Mary Trump

@softspokenman Mary Trump has admitted she has no proof that someone else took that exam for him but it's entirely believable I think.
As for a small loan of $1 million; that's a load of pure and unadulterated rubbish. It was many, many more millions than that and they were never a "loan".
The man is a malignant narcissist and a pathological liar who I think actually believes his own lies. I can think of absolutely nothing remotely "nice" about him; odious creature he is.
@Zoranna 🙋‍♂️ I agree, he is repulsive.

@softspokenman @Zoranna Y'all this guy managed to bankrupt a casino. That speaks for itself.
Zoranna · F
@BlueMetalChick Yep, I was aware of that and he must be the only one who ever has I would imagine.
He was definitely NOT the "successful businessman" he likes to pretend (i.e. lie) he was but try and convince his cult base of that; mission impossible. *sigh
