Whether if you agree or not black Americans are owed reparations

@pagandad In that case then why complain when black people want reparations too for all the messed up things the U.S. government did to them? Native Americans have been given reparations for being pushed of their land, so have Japanese Americans who were forced into internment camps after the attack on Pearl Harbor.

Okay and? Those who got their reparations for how the U.S. government treated them still worked to survive. And the world did not end because of it. If the government treated your people like scum because of xyz for decades/ centuries, then how is it lazy to file a lawsuit and get reparations for that? Talk about getting your panties in a twist.

@sunsporter1649 Did a slave work for money? Nope, they worked until they died or were often beaten for being slow or messing up on the job. Really, those who were made slaves were taken from their country, they didn't ask to get on a boat to go to work in foreign land.

@SW-User The slaves I owned were treated decent, and when I retired and sold the plantation I set them all free.

In that case, you might as well tell that to anyone in the U.S. who has received reparations from the U.S. government for violating their human rights since you think they're all lazy scum for doing the right thing and speaking up about it.

@sunsporter1649 What's wrong with the government giving away reparations? Those who pushed native Americans off their lands didn't pay native Americans, they're dead and gone the government did that job. So what's the matter?

@sunsporter1649 Still what's the matter? I mean, if the same thing happened to your people, their towns were bombed by their government or they were sent to internment camps in the country they stayed in because they were now considered a threat, you would want reparations for that.
