Cancer, car accidents, etc? The COVID-19 deaths are currently at 86,912.

@SW-User I mean in the rest of the world. Did Trump cause those as well?

SW-User
@JT123 No, of course not. Other countries started taking it seriously too late as well, but no world leader denied it for so long as Trump.
JT123 · M
@SW-User He was the first to acknowledge it. He shut down flights to China at the beginning but Pelosi and her clan cried and said he was a racist! Then demanded he bring home 100's of infected Americans!

SW-User
@JT123 Hmm, I recall him saying until late February that it was hoax, if it was real it wouldn't reach the USA and if it did reach the USA it wouldn't spread.
JT123 · M
@SW-User Then you must also recall what Pelosi, Biden, and a slew of others said. Or do you have that "selective amnesia"?

SW-User
@JT123 No, I remember that too. Trump isn't the only one who dropped the ball, that's for sure.
4meAndyou · F
@SW-User He said that the Democrats SAYING he was in denial of the virus was the hoax.

SW-User
@4meAndyou Of course he did! Nothing is ever his fault and the democrats are to blame for everything. But his statements about the virus being no threat were caught on tape, so anyone interested in the facts can see for themselves.

You must remember all politicians are not medical experts and most countries made mistakes and said things that now seem stupid....they nearly all shutdown too late and will all open up too early....@SW-User
4meAndyou · F
@SW-User Trump is only as knowledgeable as Fauci...who told him on February 13th...(repeating the words of Chicom Tedros)...that the virus was no threat.

SW-User
@Platinum Yep, everyone shut down way too late and opening up slowly is likely still too fast, but there is only one leader who said there was no threat when there were thousands of cases and only one leader who calls to open up everything completely. But like I said before: others have plenty to be blamed for too, just not as much as Trump.

SW-User
@4meAndyou No, Fauci didn't say that. He said there was no need for action at that point, but that this could change very quickly if it started spreading. And it did.
Platinum · M
Fair enough but there is only one you can blame and that is those that started this and it was not Trump....every country has done what they think is best on the advice of so called experts and they have all done things wrong, even Trump, but you can't blame them ...@SW-User

SW-User
@Platinum Why should anyone be blamed anyway. It doesn't change what we're currently dealing with. But yes, if anyone should be blamed it's the organizers, visitors and people responsible for oversight of wet markets.
Thinkerbell · 41-45, F
@SW-User
Why should anyone be blamed? Because the wet markets are a serious HAZARD, as you yourself have (finally) admitted... when you weren't too busy heaping blame on Trump, that is.

The only ones I've said should be blamed, are the ones that started it...whoever they are...@SW-User

@Platinum The little green men from Mars, perhaps?
Platinum · M
No, the yellow ones from Saturn @sunsporter1649
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Platinum Oh my, they are the worst!

SW-User
@Thinkerbell Why "finally"? I have admitted from the very start that blame is due all around. But I still stand by my point that Trump kept making mistakes where everyone else turned around and adjusted their response and that deserves additional blame.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@SW-User Whoops, forgot, Mark was perfect

SW-User
@sunsporter1649 No, he is not. I would never vote for him. He was far too late with his response too and the way he is loosening the restrictions seems randomly too. Also, why do you claim I said Mark Rutte is perfect when I just said that blame is due all around?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@SW-User "But I still stand by my point that Trump kept making mistakes where everyone else turned around and adjusted their response and that deserves additional blame."
Everyone else?
Everyone else?

SW-User
@sunsporter1649 Yes, I don't know of a single leader who didn't apply appropriate restrictions eventually without calling for immediate complete freedom weeks later.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@SW-User So you better get pissed at the governors of the States that have their residents under Martial Law
