What do you think about people being so nasty to each other because of political opinions?

I think it's just so ugly and pathetic to see people be so hateful and genuinely wish harm on others just because they have a different opinion about politics. It's ugly how every election for the new POTUS is like the civil war all over again.

@DrSunnyTheSkeptic perhaps if the t word was banned on this site there would be more harmony on this site to be honest i am as guilty as anyone for getting embroiled in the debate but i am not nasty to people whose opinion differ from mine everyone right or wrong is entitled to a view but i think most of the nastiness is directed from one area on this site

@smiler2012 Censoring things is not a solution in my opinion. You won't solve the problem by sweeping it under the rug.
