Independent voters have their own minds.

Some of us are actually able to HEAR what he is saying without filtering it through a fog of hatred and dollar signs dancing before their eyes, as the MSM is doing...and Independents usually don't cherry pick bits of sentences he has said and pretend that was his entire meaning.

Independent MINDS don't automatically bring out the litany...it's like the liberal far left brainwashing prayer...anyone who says something they don't like is automatically a litany of things...racist, sexist, misogynist, homophobic, xenophobic...I know it all by heart.

Instead of cherry picking a word here and a word there...almost always relayed to them by the MSM...I think it is far more important to look at what Trump DOES for the people of various races across this nation.

I don't always like the WAY he says what he does...because it is obvious that he has a temper. He steps in it, at times.

One example of this was during a Coronavirus briefing when he told a group of reporters that if a governor spends a lot of time bad mouthing him...(paraphrasing here)...he will not CALL that governor when he wants or needs something. The reporters LEAPT on that, drooling and praying to their evil god that was a detrimental news bit...and Trump had to repeat to the reporters TWICE that Mike Pence will call those governors back...always...because Mike Pence is not that way.

I am glad of that. It means Trump recognizes that there are times when, to be a good executive, he has to delegate to someone who is capable of being mild and even handed and do what is legally required of the executive branch.

@4meAndyou As a registered Independent, I think you pretty much summed it up. But stand by for a snowflake attack

@4meAndyou If you listen to his whole statement, what do you think when he consistently insults people and groups and talks about his poll numberS?
4meAndyou · F
@tring2222 I mentioned that in the third and second to last part of my statement. I wish he would not lose his temper when goaded.
tring2222 · 26-30, F
@4meAndyou Okay, but you do not think that he believes that? You are okay with him speaking like that, because he does not believe it? Or if he does believe it are you okay with it?
4meAndyou · F
@tring2222 I have no idea what you are talking about. You need to calm down and be specific.

@4meAndyou It wasn't deleted after all!

@Budwick She replies to me, up above, and says she could not have said it better herself...but the comment is gone. I must be confused?

@tring2222
, what do you think when he consistently insults people and groups and talks about his poll numberS?
The people / networks he insults took the first shot with lies and insults of their own. Good for Trump for pushing back. More GOP should do the same.

His polls? If 'journalists' won't report them, how else are we to know?

I think your complaint is really with the media.

@Budwick Apparently she did not read the new york slimes article last Saturday that prompted the video
Budwick · 70-79, M
@sunsporter1649 I think that may have simply been the last straw.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@Budwick I agree, and if the democrat reporting committee at those briefings are smart they will start choosing their words and actions carefully, but I am not holding my breath
Budwick · 70-79, M
@sunsporter1649 I saw the briefing yesterday.
I stood and cheered when that presentation handed the media their respective asses.

Mrs. Budwick had the presence of mind to switch to CNN - they turned off coverage while the presentation was on, and then had their own melt down with their crawler.

@Budwick Although they well deserved it, I wish the President understood a bit better that they are just goading him, praying for a temper response. Hillary used to bait him like a wounded bear....and it is NOT done for his benefit.
Budwick · 70-79, M
@4meAndyou I really understand your POV.
And, while your point is well taken,
Trump is the first and only politician to push back.
If he never pushed back - the media would simply continue.
They did it to every republican president in my memory.
It needs to stop.
We need an honest media.

I don't like that Trump needs to push back - but I'm glad he does.

@4meAndyou Obviously you did not read the new york slimes hit piece on Saturday
4meAndyou · F
@sunsporter1649 No, I don't read the NYT. They are funded by the communist Chinese, selling them ads. Their reputation is extremely bad. They betrayed the Jews just prior to WWII, and they were in bed with the Nazis, as I recall my history.

@4meAndyou It was repeated all across the country, from what I hear it made the front page of the local newspaper here, although below the fold
