Is he accusing hospitals of flipping medical supplies for profit?
Trump noted suspiciously that hospitals are now asking for many more masks than they used to, before the coronavirus appeared. “How do you go from [10,000] to 20,000 masks [prior to the pandemic] — to 300,000…” he said, “Something’s going on. And you ought to look into it as reporters. Where are the masks going? Are they going out the back door?
Perhaps it’s the same way you go from 15 cases to 150,000 in a few weeks. Does he not realize the longer he waits to do something, the bigger that something will have to be?

Mostly he's deflecting in an asinine (and ultimately failed) attempt to deflect any sort of blame for this debacle coming his way.

@DunningKruger You're exactly right. If Trump had realized this was a deadly disease instead of calling it a hoax, things would have been different. He is to blame for all of this.

You're kidding yourself, you know that, don't you? Every single one of his supporters will go wheezing to their grave that Obama was to blame.

@daisymay History will judge him accordingly.

@DunningKruger History is written by the winners/survivors. And is, frankly, little to no comfort in the here and now regardless of who those people end up being.
