No surprise really everyone knew old Trump would dodge the bullet now the Democrats should give up on the trial crap and concentrate on finding a candidate with a chance to give Trump a run for the presidency
@ExperienceDLT I basically agree with you, but Trump is being told he can do whatever he wants to do to win.
Given this, I don't think it's reasonable to treat this like any other election.
Impeachment may be adead issue, and there needs to be a candidate, but the mere fact that he offered the defenses he did is a clear sign that he can't be trusted not to do the same thing or worse in his pusuit of a second term.

It should be a lot easier to stifle the voices of dissent now and start working on repeal of the 22nd amendment.
