They want the wealthy to pay their fair share.
If I was running for president I would be pushing for a 10% tax on everyone for every dollar you or your company or buisness makes. The only tax write off/s would be for mortgage interest and medical drugs. The collections would be used to reduce the national debt first then towards health care and college tuition. Once these things are paid for then that percentage would go down. If it proves not to be enough the percentage would go up.

sunsporter1649..when you have 60 of the top companies in the US paying NO federal income tax and some of them getting millions in returns...that is not fair share..PERIOD!
Take Amazon and imagine even if they had paid 10% income tax on their profits how much the government would have collected.

@PTCdresser57 Fine with me. But the US effective income tax rate for corporations is 20 to 25% anyway. Besides, there is the payroll tax they pay.

and yet HoraceGreenley they pay no federal tax. I pay 33% of my check. Last yr with Trumps tax cut...I paid in over $2000 when in the past I got over $2400 a yr back. And yet you are defending 60 companies that pay no Federal Taxes...Trumps tax cuts shifted 2 trillion from the corporate world to the middle class. Try and defend that!
