@Carver I guess because I live in area where you find extremes from both sides, I've listened to their ramblings and I become convinced they're more similar than they think. They both think the other is out to destroy their way of life. I see the clash between the two as the biggest threat to me, the ones who are likely to start a second civil war. I despise what they are doing and what they might do, but I feel like if I become as hateful as they are, I'm only adding to the problem. I don't know. I don't like where we're headed, that's for sure.

@SW-User I can agree that both sides are similar in many ways and both can be destructive in their own right, but you see, there’s liberals, then there’s conservatives, then there’s leftists. Leftists have no place in politics where I’m from. They do not share our goals and some don’t even make it a secret that they want to bring down our country.
