There are only two genders.

"Transgender" is a mental disorder and should be treated as such.

The only way to "treat" gender dysphoria is to transition, either socially, medically, or both. Sorry if you don't like it, I guess.
@BigAssLeech false. It's a BS term to make those with a mental disorder feel better. Sorry they need treatment

@Tiredandlonely yup, we do need treatment... and we do get treatment. Beyond transitioning..hell, some of us never do transition.

We don't wake up one day, go to the hospital and say "y'know what, cut it off"

@Tiredandlonely There are many different mental abnormalities, all requiring different treatment and having different causes. The treatment for depression is different from the treatment for schizophrenia, and so on. People being transgender is usually from being born with a "gendered" brain opposite from their bodies. This is typically from hormone development in the womb, or hormone development while growing up, causing them to have a female or male brain. There are biological differences between the two, most notably in how sex hormones are processed and certain "wiring". This means that it is entirely possible to be born with female genitalia, female chromosomes, and a male brain. Dysphoria is the feeling of not belonging in your own body, and it can be traumatic and can cause people to harm themselves to escape it. The only way for many to live with gender dysphoria is to transition. This is medically recognizable, and has been proven across many reputable studies. I suggest you research deeper into mental health and get a better grasp of it, since it's clearly something you feel passionate about enough to make such a false statement on a public platform.
