The world is not surprise that the USA has about 100 murders a day and close to 300 mass murders a year ?

Why can't USA learn from the rest of the world? We are baffled??? Why are they not caring about kids??

Uhhh, I assume by mass murder you mean 2 or more victims.
And i assume your just as upset about the genocide of Christian's through out the middle east and the daily terror attacks throughout the same region.... and the government targeting of people in Venezuela, China and russia?
Tou wonder why America doesnt act? It's because things are still 10000% better here than in countries people are fleeing. (In order to come here)
And the knife attack yesterday in France that killed one and injured 9.

That's a non-answer.
The fact that other countries may have it worse does not explain why america and americans allow this kind of wanton murder to continue.

@Pikachu Evil wont dissapear with more legislation, or the removal of guns, or more governmental control over its citizens.
What do you expect them to do?

1. Many of the "shooters" have been recently fired, which is an illegal action by employers in many European and other countries. You can't just fire someone who is mentally ill, or has addictions, or isn't performing in many other countries. You have to send them to counseling, drug rehab, or training. USA is harsh, they fire without caring about the individual or their families. There are EAP's "Employment Assistance Programs", that almost every employer has in the USA that is not taken advantage of. I believe if the Employer is so callous that they don't take advantage of that the Government can make a law that the Employer has to use all interventions before the employer reassigns the employee to another position more suitable in the company and NOT fire. People have bills to pay and employers have to care more.

2. Like I said before there is a lot that the USA can do to help relieve stress in the country. Young people have to finance a car because of poor mass transit which is stressful. Cars are expensive, but car dealers have maybe lobbied to do away with commuter trains, or its not a priority for government workers. In most western societies mass transits are excellent and young people can work without buying a car. Lobbying is illegal.

3. Colleges are also free in many European countries which relieves stress.

4. So is medical care so people can get the counseling or medical care they need without losing their house because the medical bills are so high.

5. Another thing about American cities and towns is that everyone is so isolated. Most European countries everything is close and walkable and people are gathering at cafes and places walkable from their apartments, so people see people socially more often. Better community planning. In the USA there are nice suburbs far from town where no one talks to each other unless they get into their cars and drive. Which will lead to obesity, and health problems.

6. There are some people who worry about how to finance things which is a non issue really because there is lots of money, if there wasn't the governmental officials couldn't be able to have such high salaries $150-$400,000 a year. It is not a matter of taxes it is a matter where the taxes are spent. Right now the taxes are spent on military and government employee salaries it appears. Most people in government make over $150,000-$400,000 and those are the people mostly who say we can't afford to spend any money.

7. The average salary for non gov. workers are under $50,000 and many make so little they can't afford rent and are homeless so everywhere there are homeless in the parks and on the streets begging, which is super sad and just crazy.

8. I went to Sweden this summer to visit relatives. The parks are beautiful full of families and quiet and walkable, no one asked me for money. I came back to USA and every 5 minutes someone was begging me for money and the parks are full of homeless tents and trash. So, so, sad! But in many European countries the government officials make under $50,000 so they work because they care to help and not to get rich, and will not be bribed by rich private companies but work for the citizens welfare..

Of course it won't disappear. That doesn;t mean you don't do everything you can to hinder it.
And that doesn't include pointing at other countries who have it worse.

@Carazaa @Carazaa all of what you just quoted is known as "ADULTHOOD"
It sucks, it's always sucked but it wasnt until recently that people have started shooting places up.
Your right we can do better with mental health, but stop making excuses for these people.
Carazaa · F
@krf336 I care about all people and even those who are so stressed that they want to kill themselves and everyone around them. We need to care more about people! If we did these shootings wouldn't happen.
krf336 · M
@Carazaa on that we agree, but that is not something you can legislate
