Is a lack of etiquette a new requirement in leaders of 1st world countries ?

Have you seen Mr Bojo setting a good example to all the kids in the world by putting his foot up on his guest's table ?

Edit: I mean his host's table.

You are not wrong, but I'm more concerned with where his Brexit strategy is leading than bad manners.

Right wing populist deliberately cultivate an uncouth image to give them an anti establishment kudos. Johnson's lovable bafoon act is just that, an act. Really he's a cynical political player who puts his own career above all else.

@Burnley123 I can easily think of another world leader who uses similarly uncouth methods.
I can't help but wonder if this kind of behaviour is giving the queen a stomach ulcer yet.

@Wraithorn Honestly, it's not the uncouth style that I care about. Johnson probably put his foot on the table deliberately so people would talk about it and not the fact that his Brexit strategy is a disaster.

Yes Trump does similar shit all the time and its also strategy. The uncouth thing is what people like about them and its a (deliberate) distraction from their awful policies.

@Longpatrol Thanks for sharing that. I agree with Oliver completely on this.

@Longpatrol Thanks for that ! It was quite enlightening and incredibly tragicomic.
That's a quality post.
