Thanks for the reminder I keep forgetting - Republicans are ok that you can walk down the street with a fully automatic assault weapon, but they'll be damned if you vote without and I.D.

@Scubaguy027 much easier said than done. The costs involved in purchasing a pre ban automatic weapon and getting the correct tax stamps and license puts it out of reach, practically, for a majority of citizens

@Scubaguy027 Yeah, a five hundred dollar/ year federal firearms licence allowing one to buy one of the few allowable guns for a minimum of $25,000. Im sure that happens a lot with no ID.

@wildbill83 You need to understand leftist gunsmithing. irrespective of what the metal parts are doing, if the stock is wood, its not an "assault rifle". If it has any other stock its a dreaded "assault rifle"
