Do u believe Donald Trump is to blame for the recent shootings in the US ? 🤔

As it stands today. It appears that Trump has emboldened these White Nationalists to commit these acts of terror. The recent events in our world today says everything. You saw the shootings in Texas and Ohio. White Nationalism, or nationalism from any ethnic group or race is the problem here. If we do not call it for what it is this tragedy will never end. Something needs to be done. But these racist comments from Trump must end. What do you think. 😐

I don't think that Trump should go to
El Paso and Dayton tomorrow. People have already said that they don't want him there.
@softspokenman You think Trump should take into account the interests of others?

Dayton might vote for him, but El Paso?

I don't see him taking local interests into account.

Just sayin'.
@MistyCee I think that under the circumstances it would be appropriate for him to cancel, but..... ?

@softspokenman Some people have said that. The noisy Democrat sheep have said it. That does not mean that his appearance is not appropriate.

@softspokenman I sincerely hope there are no crazy leftist with a gun in El Paso!
@GoodoldBob If what you said is true and there are Right Wing Extremists there also and if there are protests, demonstrations, outrage and National Media coverage of it, that it will help the people who live there and are already in grief ?
GoodoldBob · 61-69, M
@softspokenman Who does it help if we keep giving in to a violent and loud minority that thrives only on anger at those with whom they don't agree?
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@GoodoldBob no one! But someone seems to keep throwing gasoline on the raging fire of racism and hatred.
GoodoldBob · 61-69, M
@samueltyler2 Mostly Al Sharpton. But I digress.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GoodoldBob The majority of the country disapprove of Trump. It is totally inappropriate for him to go to El Paso with false proclamations of good will. He has made it very clear how he feels about Hispanic people. No false statements tomorrow will change that.
@GoodoldBob Seems like all of that helps Trumps insatiable ego and no one else. It also seems that causing chaos and being the center of attention is more important to him rather than other peoples grief and pain.
GoodoldBob · 61-69, M
@windinhishair Sorry, but .. in a word 💩
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@softspokenman the most we can hope for is that, if he stays scripted, he will sound like a wind up robot, but he wont cause more harm.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@GoodoldBob Yes, shit is the only thing Trump will bring to El Paso. Keep him away. He'll do way more harm than good.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@windinhishair I am afraid you may be right.
@samueltyler2 Look at BOBS reply's it's the same arrogance and lack of respect that trump has and that has already divided this country.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@softspokenman Trumpers have roundly adopted Trump's bombastic and nasty approach to discussion, just as others have acted out on Trump's hate and killed people that Trump has called "animals".
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@softspokenman I try not to attack them, but to try to go high when they go low.
@samueltyler2 👍️

@windinhishair the similarity to Europe in the 1930s is dramatic!
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@samueltyler2 Yes, shockingly so. I would not be surprised to have our own Kristalnacht event here in the US.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@windinhishair we may have had multiple such events, obviously to a lesser extent, already. Look at the reports of violence in each city that a rally occurs within days or weeks of the rallies.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@samueltyler2 I agree, but I think there may be one major event that eliminates any doubt that the Trump GOP is the American White Party.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@windinhishair I sure hope not, but, it might just take something like that to awaken the majority of the country and get them into the street to demand an end to the killing.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@samueltyler2 If people aren't already outraged about the killing, I am not sure that anything will be able to move them.
samueltyler2 · 80-89, M
@windinhishair there seems to be a groundswell of interest, maybe this time things will be different. I know, we keep saying that, and nothing changes, but, I pray for change now!
