We Really Need to Do Something in U.S. Regarding Our Aging InfraStructure...

Obama is gone so it doesn't matter. Trump talks and talks about doing something and never actually does.

He promised to fix our infrastructure, claimed if we passed a huge increase in the budget he'd take advantage of those shovel ready jobs and then laughed when he said well, there weren't really any shovel ready jobs. He gave billions of taxpayer money to left wing companies and then they filed for bankruptcy, taking your money with them.

I believe we need major investment in infrastructure. The people should get something back for their tax money, namely useful programs like infrastructure investment, universal non-profit medical care, high quality education and good public schools, job training, public safety, etc. In short: Domestic Improvements.

What we should NOT spend tax money on is the utterly wasteful war/occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq, reckless military adventures, bail-outs and subsidies for corporations and billionaires.

And We should ban off-shore tax havens and other tax-dodging schemes for the wealthy. Billionaires should be forced to do their patriotic duty and pay their fare share of taxes.
