@Quetzalcoatlus on the federal background check to buy a firearm it asks if you are a felon. The NICS directly asks if you are not permitted to but a firearm.

@jetpack That federal check actually checks for a rap sheet. If you lie about being a felon, it’s a crime. What exactly does this have to do with a census to count the number of ppl in our country? Don’t you want an accurate count?
