It's sickening. Decent American citizens are homeless, and they roll out the red carpet for foreign invaders. California has 11,000 homeless veterans, living on the streets of the country they defended.

His point is that giving health coverage is cheaper and safer for all of us in the long run. The veteran’s have VA benefits but lack the counseling in a lot of cases to know how to use them. @AbbeyRhode

@jackjjackson Sorry, but I don't understand how this is a benefit to anyone. People are working and paying taxes, and many of THEM can't afford healthcare. And instead of the money that they worked for earning them healthcare, or even being used to help homeless Americans, it's going to people who should not even be here. It's not fair to the working people, it's not fair to our own people in need, and it's a slap in the face to those who went through the process to come here legally, and now work for what they have, and are proud to be Americans, instead of collecting welfare and waving the flag of another country.

@jackjjackson Not all veterans qualify for VA healthcare either.

@jackjjackson And if it's true that they lack the counseling to know how to obtain them, there should be more counseling. With 20 veterans a day committing suicide, there should be a lot more counseling!
