Have you ever noticed that no matter who we vote for it's always the Government that gets elected?

I listed to a discussion last night with John Marini, and he pointed out that Congress, increasingly, does not wish to govern and does not wish to make decisions. Instead, they pass off their decision making powers to bureaucrats inside the administrative state.

@GunSmoke9 Fat chance of that ever happening. Only when they all die of old age or scandal themselves into resigning will we be be able to clean out that nest of rattlers...most of them lawyers, which, some people say, are the lowest form of life.

@4meAndyou Didn't Trump stop politicians from becoming lobbyist for five years after leaving office?

@GunSmoke9 He enacted that for members of his own administration only. This year, Ted Cruz and AOC are trying to sponsor a bill with a straight ban on all lawmakers becoming lobbyists, but it will have to be passed through Congress, where all good things go to die.

@GunSmoke9 She actually does have some of the most creative ideas in the Democrat Socialist party, and if she weren't stupid as hell about foreseeing the long term effects of most of her ideas, we might actually listen to her.

@GunSmoke9 Twenty years actually living in the sh!thole that socialism would create in our country will be a higher and better education for those kids, and they would, (will?), become the next wave of American freedom fighters.
