@TexChik Or... the way I read it in the press here was that, Trump is a right wing white supremacist who somehow became president and wanted to ban all Muslims from the USA and Kahn is a UK born working class politition who somehow became Mayor of London and resented Trumps actions. (probably due to the fact that he's a muslim)
That said, white supremacist or not, Trump is the president of USA, who are our greatest allies, so I think that our socialist politicians should respect that when he is here on an official visit to pay respect to our war veterans.
To be honest, they should all just grow up play nice and get on with their jobs.
In fairness to Kahn, knife crime has increased 30% in 5 yrs. Kahn has been mayor for one. So he's inherited the prob that has been caused by austerity rather than race, and will take yrs to fix.
BTW, the Murder rate in New York City is down, but still 2.5 times the murder rate in London.

@TexChik I don't think kahn is a Lib. He just maybe wanted to go on holiday to Disneyland in Florida. :0) (guess he can strike that off his wish list at least until the next elections. :0)
@Harriet03 No comparison whatsoever. For one thing, the Quran's surahs and the Hadiths are open ended. That is, there is no "old" or "new" They are all equally applicable and not subject to historical context. Jesus was a man of peace, whereas Mohammed was a warlord and thief. They started out as caravan robbers and kind of went downhill from there. Mohammed launched over 100 "expeditions" and they were all for plunder. Jesus says"Love your enemies," Mohammed says, "Decapitate non Muslims, and chop their fingers off while you're at it" Al Anfal- 8:12 Judaism had one divine "land grant". Islam claims the world by any means necessary.

That's a very unflattering picture of poor Sadiq Khan.. mind you Trump NEVER looks anything other than a fugly goit! They hate each other because one, Trump is an ignorant, ill-mannered idiot with less than zero diplomatic prowess, the other dislikes Trump, as all reasoning people do, because Trump IS an ignorant backside-wipe with less than zero diplomatic prowess and because Trump has been throwing out insults left, right and centre about Sadiq which is totally out of order.

@Platinum I do genuinely feel sorry for you. You clearly have difficulty distinguishing fact from fiction. I am unable to tell why this might be.. however, factually, I didn't say who started it.. I didn't even say I am a fan of Sadiq.. So I am afraid all this ire, all this getting your frilly panties in a twist over some perceived injustice.. really isn't necessary.. @Nimbus One time my friend had a party at her house. She wanted my sister to meet her new friend, the girl that my sister heard rumors about and bad-mouthed her because she was the new girl at school and my sister was friends with someone who knew her from another school and didn’t like her.. We came to the house and everyone was standing around, my friend didn’t introduce the new friend because she wanted my sister to see that she was an all right person. Within 30 minutes my sister opened her mouth and started ragging on this girl not knowing she was standing right there in front of her. I wanted to crawl under the carpet it embarrassed me so much....my friend tried to smooth it over, my sister didn’t apologize, we stayed at the party but I thought “never again”...
@Echoing Khan believes that the perfect man is a man who believes all non Muslims should be decapitated. There are 164 verses allegedly transcribed by the "ideal man" that clearly call for the enslavement, subjugation, or murder of non Muslims. Inconvenient truth. Wake up England.
@Echoing I wish I could ignore it too, but the minute they achieve their goal, (demographic predominance) there won't be any nice polite Muslims to be found. I've been right about everything else in the last twelve years, and I am right about this. It is nothing but a cancer that physically and figuratively destroys everything non Muslim as soon as it has the opportunity.

Well, my right honorable colleague on the right cannot come to terms with the fact that there are gangs of muslim men roaming the streets of London attacking women, and when average citizens try and record and make note of this, he locks them up for "hate crimes".

@xixgun Here in Paris, too, the rapes and the violent attacks continue. President Trump recognized this prevalent evil which led him to say "Paris is lost". Fortunately, genuine patriots sawthis as a rallying call rather than a trumpet to retreat. Now, patriotism is on the rise and it is more determined now than ever to support and protect the number of genuine religions in the city and the number of legal, non-French citizens. The president still remains a staunch ally to our patriotic beliefs and culture to protect the French citizen and the legal non-French citizen. This is the patriotic way.

Kahn, like De Blasio in New York, is begging for attention for political reasons. If you are doing a lousy job, the only way you get re-elected to a public post is to make a huge group of left wing radicals wish to support you, and Trump bashing is the surest way to popularity in those quarters.
Left wing radicals, communists, and socialists would all rather stew like prunes in the juices of their hatred for Trump and destroy their own cities and countries through their criminal stupidity. Or should I coin a new word that combines stupidity and cupidity? Suggestions welcome.
Personally, I prefer to strictly limit my servings of prunes to a minimum.

Difference of ideology. One would call the other a stone cold loser and then tell him how to do the job. The other wouldn't reply that you shouldn't let the Russian secret services film you getting excited by watching prostitutes urinate and then let your weakness become the weakness of your whole country when you are blackmailed over the kompromat. He might think it, but serving in public office is about being more intelligent than standing in one corner of a playground and saying, "haha you did a poop. me biggest man now". Restraint is sadly underestimated.
