Is it safe to eat American chicken?

If the uk has have a trade deal with usa apparently American chicken will be imported. Their chickens are washed in chlorine which doesn't sound nice. Will you boycott chlorine washed chicken?

I'm going to check but I think most chickens I see in the supermarket have British stickers on so I don't know why we'd start importing them. But I need to check.
