What do you think warrants a presidential pardon?

Is this something that should be done more or less?

Is it a case by case thing?

I think that is up to each President. It is a special power granted to him, and I am sure each man or woman who becomes President will have their reasons for granting pardons individual to themselves, but mostly addressing what they perceive as injustice.
