Has anyone ever visited Plains, GA?

I am not a Jimmy Carter fan, but I may stop there this summer.

Surprise, surprise. When you visit the Jimmy Carter Plantation, you will find the compound is surrounded with WALLS, topped with barbed wire. Wonder why?
