As of now perhaps a combination of Bezos, Zuckerberg and Page. I trust none of them.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
Collectively they know everything about everything and have the ability to censor whatever they want and have the ability to drive any narrative they want. @Nimbus
SteinbockundLoewe · 31-35, M
@jackjjackson Which Page?

The google one @SteinbockundLoewe

I'm really not sure it's fair to peg Trump as the most powerful man in the world. He's the head of most powerful country in the world, sure, but he's only able to use his influence in a pretty restricted set of ways. Without Congress and/or the Supreme Court wanting what he wants, he's usually out of luck. I would argue that Bill Gates is the most powerful man in the world is Jeff Bezos, because he has full, unlimited control of his $131 billion fortune and he owns 16% of Amazon, which is an absolute god of retail.

If you look at what Bill Gates has done with his money -- namely, saving 122 million lives -- the tremendous power inherent in green paper should become clear. And while Bezos isn't currently putting his money to the same use, it's clear that he has the potential to do that, which is a form of power.

The 122 million lives was only with $36 billion, by the way, so take of that what you may.

@BlueVeins Good point!
Dlrannie · 31-35, F
@BlueVeins In the interests of accuracy America is not the largest country - in terms of land area Russia is vastly bigger and in terms of population the China is considerably bigger🙂
BlueVeins · 22-25
@Dlrannie oh yeah, I meant to write most powerful whoops.
Actually I think you can no longer assume the POTUS is number one. The US is being bypassed or ignored more every day and no longer has the economic power to back it. The only thing left is threats of violence. Reneging on deals is sending the message you can't trust any deal brokered in Washington. As for next in line it is more a power sharing arrangement that Putin is largely heading. China and other allies are backing their play but are content to let Putin take the flack as the man in front.

You fear a coherent argument, I am sparing you and yours, the humility. @PicturesOfABetterTomorrow
@JamesHanes translation = all you have in your bag is more mud to fling. Try a counter argument. Should be entertaining. Your buddy thinks calling out racists makes you a white supremacist. I don't expect much more rational thinking from you either.

You’re a racist. @PicturesOfABetterTomorrow

@Dlrannie I agree with you on Xi. He really is looking to the future while Trump is going backwards and whining past glories. I couldn´t have expressed that better! 👍️
