Should border control destroy supplies left for illegal immigrants?

Absolutely obscene. Regardless of the situation, be it police dousing food for the homeless in bleach, shutting down shanty cities in winter, or destroying aid meant for border crossers, it is signing the death warrant for these people and tantamount to murder.

These refugees have already made the decision to leave their homes, family, and friends in their search for a better life. Leaving food, water, and clothing for them is compassionate. Yes, there are better solutions to the immigrant issue than what we are doing now on the border, but that is a separate issue, and one that needs to be dealt with. Providing small necessities to people in real need, and perhaps close to death, is what people of a civilized nation do.

Yes, sure, that makes perfect sense, if you believe that every single illegal immigrant is a drug-dealing rapist/murderer, and that NOT ONE SINGLE family of them are actually refugees from war, terror, or poverty.

Ask yourself; have you personally, or in fact one single person you know, ever been attacked or had their job taken by a Mexican border-jumper? Or is it more likely that the last Mexican border-jumper you met was cutting your grass, serving you a meal, or nursing your grandmother?

Finally, notice how Trump mentioned "closing the border with Mexico" last week? Notice how he's not said it again since? That's because every one of his personal advisors told him that doing so would be the ruin of America.

Well. It depends on one's values. If one's values do not prioritize human life and well being, then sure. Take the provisions away or even poison them.

But if one has some religious or secular humanist values, then it seems reasonable to leave even more supplies.

So basically kill them?

Most Americans don’t consider them human beings.
