So, Russian collusion was just a delusion?

The investigation was necessary - largely because Trump threw a retarded bitchfit due to his crippling insecurities - but yeah, expecting him to turn out to be a full-on Russian puppet was indeed totally delusional. But so was whining about it being a witch hunt instead of a necessary procedural step any sane nation would take.

Really, the right doesn’t come off any better here - equally retarded, marginally less delusional, but making up for it in sheer histrionics.

@QuixoticSoul You mean a democrat party pack of lies is enough to set off a witch hunt costing millions of dollars and the destruction of many lives! Whouda thunk it!
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 My heart bleeds for all the shady motherfuckers that plead guilty it really does 😂😂😂

Necessary because there was blatant foreign interference and and instead of dealing with the situation as a statesman the president threw a bitchfit.

@QuixoticSoul You mean Don Trump paid for the steele toilet paper report! Whouda thunk it!
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 The dossier had jack shit to do with any of it in the end. This is yet another talking point you’re blurting out because you haven’t actually kept up with anything, and your knowledge of what happened is paper thin.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul Well what then was it that tripped off the investigation? Spies in the Presidential campaign? Or maybe the russians deciphering the cupcake recipes from Hillary?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 Popadopulus initially.

Then Trumps inexplicably bizarre behavior turned it into a special counsel investigation with all the trimmings.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul And a partridge in a pear tree. The steele toilet paper report was never used to get the four FISA warrants, and St. Patrick chased all the snakes out of Ireland
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul And who told Popadopulus?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 No, the Steele dossier was not used to get the FISA warrants, it was basically a footnote in those applications, and every national security expert says that there was plenty in there to establish probable cause - mostly to do with Page.

Popadopulus fucked himself when he blabbed to an Aussie ambassador and the Aussies told the Feds.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul But who told Popadopulus? Or did he just make it up? And since the steele toilet paper report was just unverified nonsense, why bother bringing it up to the FISA judge? I was under the impression everything that is presented to a FISA court was to be hard intelligence, verified by the signatory to be true. But that only applies to certain individuals, namely Republicans. Kinda strange how an investment banker working for the FBIR suddenly becomes a Russian spy, is it not?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 Who told Popadopulus that Russians had dirt on Hillary? Looking to answer that was how the investigation got started. It turned out to be Misfud.

The existence of the report is evidence in itself, and the fact that its contents were not verified and produced by the opposition was disclosed in the applications.

FISA applications actually get approved at a staggeringly high rate, precisely because when it comes to foreign intelligence purposes, standards of evidence are lower. It’s a national security thing.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul You can not honestly think that the FBIR, the CIA, and the DOJ thought that the Trump Presidential campaign was acting as an agent of a foreign government, for the purpose of doing harm to the security of the United States, do you?
QuixoticSoul · 41-45, M
@sunsporter1649 That wasn’t really the concern at the time.
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
@QuixoticSoul Of course not, the concern was to assist the hildabeeste in winning the election. How'd that work out?
