Do you think there should be an upper age limit on voting?

There is a minimum age to vote - do you think there should be an upper limit too, as those at the other end of the spectrum are down to their last decade or so of life and shouldn't get a say in major decisions affecting all those generations behind them that will have to live with the consequences (i.e. Brexit and the divide between how the older / younger generations voted)

Most definitely. In fact those above 60 need not vote at all as they are outdated and just dont let future take over.

@in10RjFox you and I are in a minority on this front (though personally I'd set the age higher than 60)

Forgive me for sounding like and old man (I'm not over 60 yet) but honey, you have no idea what your talking about. Maybe your just being a provocateur (look it up) or whatever but again, you have absolutely no idea what your talking about....now go to your room.

@luctoretemergo we are talking sense which you have no idea about.

@Salix75 well.. we can start at 70 and then bring it down.. in fact if allowed to volunteer most would come forward to give up their votes.

@in10RjFox "Never trust anybody over 30."

When it comes to the office of President a maximum age of 60 sounds good to me. @in10RjFox
in10RjFox · M
@jackjjackson there's a difference between voter and voted.. we are talking about voting age..and not contestant's age.
jackjjackson · 61-69, M
I disagree with your premise about cutting off someone’s right to vote. Anyone who pays taxes and is a US should have the right to vote. I do think 60 should be the top age for someone to able to run for President @in10RjFox

@jackjjackson that's your view. The better way is for them to have their own old age regime that manages funds of theirs and not affect the mainstream and future life.

Fortunately you will never get anywhere with the nonsense you’re spouting 😂 @in10RjFox

@jackjjackson 😂😂😂 as if anything is under your control .. and as if I seek your opinion.. 🤣

Based on that so called logic you should delete this question @in10RjFox

@jackjjackson as if I put up the question.. Hope you see the questioner and me thinking alike which makes two of us, already.

I suppose you plan to euthanize your parents at some point. @in10RjFox

@jackjjackson what an assertion ? just keep it up your a** .. Shows your inability to accept losing an argument, and you bring up nonsense to say you are superior. But when you have time to think, think of your own assertion as to why someone who would absolve voting rights for aged parents, will also plan to euthanize them ? And what if I say my aged parents are my dependents and are under my care, and I know how clueless they are about the economy today .. ?

I’m now thoroughly convinced you’re a douchebag 😂 @in10RjFox
