That ship has sailed. He doesn't need to be haunted to act crazy.

I'd think he'd wasn't too be plumb away from the white house at this time. I get the perception the oval office is like an adult day care center.

@kentex35 Can't be, the teleprompter has been removed

His behavior has become increasingly more "Unbecoming" in his speeches, tweets, and photo OP's to the news media, since the day that he took office. And, after watching his recent CPAC 2 hour tantrum and now reading his 50 tweets (some retweets) over the past weekend, attacking Sen. McCain again, he isn't haunted by a ghost, he is just being Trump. How can the GOP believe that he is fit to hold office. I don't think that we will see millions of people rushing to registering to vote in 2020 as new Republicans.

If Trumpets haven't realized by now the character of the man they idolize they are truly hopeless. 😟

Yes, that's true.

Today, Wednesday, 3/20/2019. At a WH event in a factory in Lima Ohio:
"I gave him (McCain) the kind of funeral that he wanted, which as President I had to approve. I don't care about this, I didn't get a thank you. That's ok."
He spoke about McCain for about 5 minutes.

Trump seems to think he rules over Congress (which the the body of government that grants whether someone can "lay in state" at the Capitol) and the National Cathedral.

“All funerals and memorial services at the Cathedral are organized by the family of the deceased; only a state funeral for a former president involves consultation with government officials,” Washington National Cathedral spokesman Kevin Eckstrom said in a statement. “No funeral at the Cathedral requires the approval of the president or any other government official.”
softspokenman · M
He 'signed' a piece of paper and wanted to take credit for the entire plan for the funeral like he personally wrote every word of what was to be done, who would attend, who would speak and how many. I'm sure that he took time out of busy schedule to inspect everything down to the smallest detail to make sure it was done to his perfection. 🤦♂️ @beckyromero

I'm tolerate of differing political opinions. But only to a point.
So Stop Spreading LIES.
The fire on the Forrestal was caused by the accidental firing of a Mk-32 “Zuni” rocket from another aircraft that flew across the deck of the carrier and struck McCain's plane.
He had nothing to do with causing the fire.

And stop DEFAMING the character of Sen. McCain's father and grandfather with your LIES.
Admiral John S. McCain was so exhausted from commanding Task Force 38 that after attending the Japanese surrender of the battleship Missouri on September 2, 1945 that he went home to Coronado, California and died of a heart attack four days later.
Study John McCain a bit more. There is a dark side. Especially read what those who served in the Navy and as prisoners of war with him have to say. His screw ups in Naval aviation (multiple crashes) were covered up because both his father and grandfather were Admirals. Dad was a WWII hero. The incident on the Aircraft Carrier Forrestal that killed 160 some odd sailors. His abandoning his wife (who stood by him during his POW years) to marry a rich bitch. If you think John McCain is an American hero, think again.

Was it not McCain who sent an aide to London to get a hard copy of the steele toilet paper, and when he got it, made copies for all the news medias?
sunsporter1649 · 70-79, M
You mean the guy the democrats wanted to run as their vice-presidential candidate?

Gore picked Lieberman.
Kerry picked Edwards.
Obama picked Biden (while running against McCain)
Hillary picked Kaine.
I think you're confused.

Here's another one:
https://www.sfgate.com/politics/article/Kerry-asked-McCain-to-consider-VP-spot-2714635.php
My take?
John Kerry was just using McCain's popularity to try to pull in independents by MISLEADING them into thinking he was seriously thinking of picking McCain.
But truth be told, McCain was too conservative for Democrats to nominate him for the vice presidency, especially in a tight contest.
Just as the Republicans would never have nominated Joe Lieberman as McCain's running mate in 2008.
Speculation like that is nothing more but fantacies in the minds of political reporters trying to conconct a story without any foundation or even a remote chance of actually occurring.
